I'm sure if you are reading the news you know about the soon-to-be royal couple. I can remember the flurry around his mother's wedding and my husband thinks I'm officially cuckoo.

I'm really am more interested in Kate's mother's business, called Party Pieces! They ship to us across the pond! Some of it is too kid-friendly, {ha} but some of the British things are really cute!! I can't figure out how to display the pics, so I will just post links to some of the highlights.

I flew to Jo Ann fabrics and bought a couple bags of pom poms and glued onto Vivi's petite barrettes. I mean it, these pom pom barrettes  make you grin.

They have had this in stores for over a year, so must be a staple item.

We used the white, cream, & flax colors {our favorite to work with was the cream & flax}

If you stumble upon vintage hemp fabric, it is also very absorbent and is fun to work with.

We also dyed some samples and the linen takes the color very well.

Goodness! A Bit of News!

  

Lately, we chased the sun to shoot a petite project for Heather's new "Souvenir," a seasonal lifestyle gazette. We had taken pictures the week before last and then finished up last Monday--- because the good Lord above decided we needed some sun! We became weather freaks {or geeks??!} watching the forecasted weather!  

During the last shoot, the sun would pop in and out from behind the clouds and was kind of funny as we would say," hurry, there's the sun". We would shoot, shoot, shoot and then back behind the clouds it would go! By-a-by-by..........
