British Clothes Airers & Mud Room Staples

I'm in love with these "British clothes airers".  Since we are finally in the last stages of our mud room project, I've been looking for practical beautiful things to finish it off. {ok, the trim is being painted and so hope Eric will be able to install next week???}

On my list:

These clothes airers are suspended from the ceiling and you raise it up & down with pulleys. Hang your clothes, lift it up and your delicates, old linens & hand washables will dry on this darling drying rack. They come in different lengths as well.

I found a site that sells them in the United States & this site in England will ship some of the racks to the United States. The British site, also has a limited edition brass & nickel cast iron holders for the wood. These were a staple in households at one time!

Luke scratching his head & thinking "When are they gonna wrap this project up"?

I've been holding and holding Vivi, it's a good thing I have reading material handy. I read a ridiculous article today "How high is to high for heels"! I'm scratching my head a thinkin' I've been wearing the same 2 pairs of flip flops since May. I need help. I want to go shoe shopping somewhere else besides Target. I do love you Target, but shopping for diapers & shoes at the same place is not what I want to do.  I must.get.out.soon. {& my response to high heels---I swoon over J. Crew's flats--amen}

I am sleep deprived as every other mother is with a newborn. If I could have one superpower it would be to be able to get by on 1 hour of sleep. These days I don't get out much so I stock coffee & my creamer of choice, Skinny Caramel Macchiato by that creamer company. I can't think of it at the moment, please refer to my sleep deprived sentence above.

{sorry, but there is no app that delivers Starbucks in those famous white paper cups to your home--how I wish it were so}

However, I have managed to work on McMaster & Storm..........more on that later.......

Vivi is wanting to be fed now, I mean right now.......by a by-by!*

Fall

Thanks to my in-laws we get the monthly issues of Midwest Living......... it's a nice reminder that there really is a ton to do & see in the Midwest! An opening sentence caught my eye---

Baby Pics

Well, it seems it has been baby everything around here lately. Since I didn't know we were having a girl

I had things ready for boy or girl. Now that she has arrived it's pink and girlie things in full force! I dug around in the attic & brought out things I had bought for gifts. Thank goodness I kept some of those girlie "gifts"!

Vivi sleeps well just at the wrong hours! I need to learn to take more naps......I'm afraid I've been overdoing it!

On another note I cleaned the office and inventory area. Hopefully can cross off some business goals that has been put off for months now.
