In the Middle of Nowhere..........

Meanwhile my 3 year old is putting paper in the wood stove, the fire wasn't going, but the roll of bathroom tissue {sounds better than the other word} that he put in has made a roaring fire. Sigh....

Darcy had a moment last night and was desperate and headed to Wal-mart. {she was des--perate to head to Wal-mart let me tell ya!}
She found ranunculus flowers & that helped..................

3rd floor housewares: favorite white french porcelain, linens from Belgium {these last for years to come}

2nd floor baubles and bits.......oh that matches your personality to a "T".

top floor: petite department store cafe, coffee and shopping a perfect pair!

5th floor: apothecary-- french soaps the smell of spring, I need a box.

lower level: custom fitting is needed today

7th floor: Interior design services are complimentary.

A petite department store speciality: wrapping to the hilt & then some!

1st floor: perfumerie

guest services: custom gold stamping on a few gifts.

a restroom break ---of course we need to all go in {we're gals you know} "do I have anything in my teeth?"

Outside of petite cafe: chocolate need we say more, candy is a must today!

11th floor: china and sparkly things for entertaining at home.

10th floor: home furnishings, making it lovely.

This we must try on........

It's almost Easter we need these yummy chocolate eggs......these you can break!

Up to the 9th floor: the paperie, a place to be inspired.

Kara visited her first Anthropologie in the winter of 1998. I was with a group of gals in L.A. and
after many missed turns {no GPS} and almost giving up we found this store in Santa Monica.
Needless to say it was our favorite shop as never before was "home" things mixed with fashion.
We were in Loooooooo-ve!
Those of you who follow Anthropologie and the stories behind their vision know their talent lies in the never- ending details!

Now this we love a commercial laundry basket! Wood base with wheels. Maid does not come with cart {sorry}!! It is rather grande, but we were thinking you could throw laundry in here then sort it.

We're loving these lights, they are lined with mirrors! The lighting designer was inspired by the zinc pendants he spotted in a Italian village bakery.

Our striking Verona Pendant is lined with mirrors that amplify the light from its bulb, creating focused lighting ideal for reading, working or entertaining. Aged brass stems and fittings are bead blasted for a matte finish, and meticulous hand painting gives the iron shades the exact look of zinc, without the weight.
